Have you been disappointed or frustrated with your man?
He gives you a blender for your birthday…
instead of that cashmere scarf.
He didn’t call while he was away for a guys’ weekend.
You want him to plan a romantic date, but he suggests you stay in and watch a movie.
He hasn’t asked you to marry him and it’s been over two years.
All of these types of
“situations” just feel icky, right?
You’re left feeling unloved and resentful. Pretty soon, you’re drowning in a whirlpool of suffering.
Sound familiar?
Well, have no fear, your love mentor is here to help!
I’ve
helped thousands of women
overcome frustration and disappointment in their relationships. And,
there is one simple step that can completely turn things around.
Are you ready for it?
You must set him up to succeed with you!
It
seems like such common sense, but so many of us have grown up thinking
that we cannot ask for
what we need or want. We tell ourselves that he should “just know” what
to do. Then we assign meaning way above and beyond what has occurred. He didn’t text while he was out with his buddies. This is the fact. All the thoughts about our unlovability and everything falling apart are just the story we’ve concocted.
In order to have a fulfilling relationship, you must show him how to be your knight, how to come through, and win
with you.
Remember, even the hottest, most amazing Adonis of a man cannot read your mind.
So,
here’s your action step: Have a loving talk with your guy about what
you really need, whether it’s emptying the garbage or a deeper
commitment. Do this from a place of appreciation and love. No
complaining, manipulating, or drama! Instead of telling yourself that he
doesn’t love you because of x, y, and z, assume that he is just dying to
know how he can make you happy. Use the magic phrase: “I would really love it if you (fill in the blank with specifics!)”
Then enjoy and appreciate his
attempt to fulfill your request--even if it is not the whole enchilada!
As my mom used to say, “Honey brings more of what you
want!”
If
you still find yourself disappointed with dating or in your
relationship…or having trouble communicating your needs and
desires....or struggling with having “the talk” about commitment...
Know this: You can have the magical, fulfilling relationship you desire.
